Singapore has seized its largest cache of high-grade heroin in 10 years and arrested two Malaysians for suspected drug trafficking, drug enforcement officials said.
The Central Narcotics Bureau said in a statement that it seized about 10.8 kilograms of high-grade heroin, packed into suitcases in a flat in central Singapore.
The bust comes after authorities received a tipoff that an international drug syndicate would be using Singapore as a transit point.
