SINGAPORE, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister S. Jayakumar said Wednesday the government will set up an inter-agency taskforce to help businesses strengthen their corporate resilience to overcome crisis.
The taskforce will be led by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and involves other key agencies, such as the Ministry of Home Affairs as well as the Finance Ministry.
"A strong and resilient corporate sector is critical, especially for a business and financial hub like Singapore," Jayakumar said at the National Security Dialogue with the business community.
