May 20 (Bloomberg) -- Singapore Airlines Ltd., the only operator of the Airbus SASA380, diverted the plane's inaugural flight to Tokyo due to bad weather.
The flight was diverted to Nagoya, Singapore Air spokesman Stephen Forshaw said in an e-mail reply to Bloomberg queries. The aircraft, with 394 passengers and 28 crew aboard, is scheduled to arrive in Narita at 11:10 a.m. in Tokyo, almost three hours behind its original schedule, according to the airline's Web site.
