Authorities believe a top Muslim terror suspect has not managed to flee Singapore and have launched an investigation into how he escaped from a high- security prison.
More than 1,000 security personnel are involved in a nationwide search for Mas Selamat Kastari, who fled on Wednesday. He is accused of plotting to hijack an aircraft and crash it into the city-state's international airport.
