Singapore economy expected to show stable growth in Q1, may soften from Q2

SINGAPORE (Thomson Financial) - Singapore's economy is expected to show stable growth in the first quarter, rising by 5.7 percent after expanding 5.4 percent in the fourth quarter, the Monetary Authority of Singapore said Monday, citing the median estimates of 19 economists who participated in its latest quarterly survey.
