Chennai, Mar 1: With more than 90,000 tourists from Chennai visiting Singapore last year, the city has become the latter's largest market in South India, and the second behind Mumbai in the country, a Tourism executive said.
Chennai had registered a year-on-year growth of 17.05 per cent in respect of tourists to Singapore, the release, quoting, Kiran Bhandari, Area Director, Southern India, Sri Lanka and Maldives, Singapore Tourism Board (STB) said.
