In 2012, a report by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) showed that it arrested 3,481 drug abusers in Singapore – a five-per-cent increase from 2011.
Former drug dealers and users say though, that these figures are indicative of what the authorities manage to nab on a yearly basis, and they believe it is a small fraction of the real numbers of drug users in Singapore. Full story
