KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 — A number of Singapore companies with businesses here are said to be adopting a wait-and-see attitude ahead of the 13th general election although they remain optimistic about prospects in Malaysia.
The Singapore Straits Times reported Jonathan Phoon, executive director of Freshening Industries, as saying that sales have dropped about 10 per cent in the past few months as customers seem to shy away from committing to new contracts before the poll outcome is known. Full story
