SINGAPORE, July 30 (Xinhua) -- The fresh graduates in Singapore are expected to get a higher starting base salaries this year despite the challenging macroeconomics environment, a latest survey by global management consulting firm Hay Group has found.
The survey conducted in June showed that the average starting monthly pay the employers will offer to degree holders without honors is 2,678 Singapore dollars (2,142 U.S. dollars), local television Channel NewsAsia reported on Monday.
Those with second upper honors and above can expect to get 2, 882 Singapore dollars (2,306 U.S. dollars), while those with second lower honors and below can get 2,766 Singapore dollars (2, 213 U.S. dollars) on average. Full story
