Their nuptials may have failed a year ago and one of the parties may have found a new dance partner, but the stock exchanges of Australia and Singapore remain determined to nut out a future together.
The Australian Securities Exchange and its Singapore counterpart have agreed to establish a presence in each other's market sharing a data centre "to enhance customer connectivity to their markets".
From September, SGX's co-location data centre in Singapore will host the ASX hub, providing "direct connectivity" to the ASX 24 futures market based at the ASX Australian Liquidity Centre in Sydney, the ASX and SGX said in a statement. Full story
