An 80-year-old woman got her arm trapped between train doors while squeezing in with other passengers, reported Lianhe Wanbao.
Some skin got peeled off and the her arm was also bleeding as passengers tried to help Mdm Tan Shui Lian who was with her 58-year-old son at the Chinatown MRT station when the incident happened around 8pm on 15 July.
Her son told the paper: “When the train doors began to close, my left hand and my mother’s right hand were both around the door area. In the end, my mother’s right arm got trapped between the doors. Full story
