More married couples here not having children in Singapore

The ranks of married Singaporeans remaining childless have grown in the past decade and a small-scale study has shed some light on why some women have chosen not to procreate.
In 2010, 20.5 per cent of ever-married female citizens in the 30 to 39 age group were childless - and that is a significant jump from the 13.2 per cent in 2000, said demographer Gavin Jones. Full story
