On Jan. 12, the country's Minister for Law K. Shanmugam announced that his ministry is in discussion with the Motion Picture Association on the piracy issue.
In comments on his Facebook page, the Minister explained that the issue was being studied and he reported that one association was "extremely unhappy with the state of law". Full story
