Singapore News, 8 Sep 2011They may have had a better team and a better programme for Aljunied during this year's General Election, but the decision to run a “local campaign” was one reason why the People’s Action Party (PAP) team lost, said former Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed.
“Local programmes were insufficient to carry the PAP team,” reflected Zainul, one of the defeated candidates in Aljunied group representation constituency (GRC). Full story
