Singapore eyes investments in Inner Mongolia

There is potential for Singapore businesses to invest in Inner Mongolia's tourism sector, Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong told Mr Hu Chunhua, the autonomous region's party chief, yesterday.
They can invest in, among other things, tourism facilities, such as hotels, said Mr Goh, who is making his first official visit to the region.
He also hopes to see more Singapore businessmen visiting Inner Mongolia, whose economy has grown by an average of 17 per cent a year over the past decade on the strength of natural resources like coal and milk. Full story
