Sungei Road Thieves’ Market
Probably one of the dingier stretches still existing in Singapore, the Thieves’ Market along Sungei Road might come across as a step back into the 1950s for the wandering tourist, but it's still one of Singapore's best flea markets.
Here an assortment of goods are laid out on plastic mats and under cheap tents, everything from dial telephones, cassette tapes, cooking pots, and broken-but-somehow-still-functioning electronic gadgets up for sale.
