Presidential candidate Tan Jee Say said on Wednesday he wants to represent all Singaporeans, not only those opposed to the government.
Speaking at a news conference, the former civil service high-flier said he plans to be "an independent auditor and a gatekeeper" if elected.
The primary role of the Elected President is to act as a check on a possible rogue government, he said. Full story
