SINGAPORE, July 27 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan called on Singapore's Former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong on Wednesday.
Wang said that Lee is a weathered statesman with a global vision and that China thinks highly of the great efforts he has made to push forward the bilateral relations between China and Singapore.
China is ready to work together with Singapore to expand the bilateral cooperation and push forward regional cooperation and development, he said. Full story
