Yahoo! Singapore News, 6 Jun 2011To develop more low-cost innovations that will improve the living conditions of HDB-dwellers, the Ministry of National Development (MND) is embarking on an initiative to gather ideas from the public and market players.
Led by Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of National Development Lee Yi Shyan, the MND will set aside a sum of money to fund promising ideas, pilot them in some flats and get them assessed by users, such as residents and foreign domestic workers. Full story
