The Jakarta Globe, 1 Jun 2011Singaporean Minister of State Lee Yi Shyan visited Lippo Village in Karawaci, Tangerang, along with other Lippo Group sites, to observe developments at the township.
"Township is usually undertaken by the government because it takes a lot of money and a long time to build," Lee said, adding that he was amazed at Lippo's ability to build a successful township.
Lee, along with Singapore's Ambassador for Indonesia, Ashok Kumar Mirpuri toured the township, Pelita Harapan School, Pelita Harapan University and Siloam Hospital. Full story
