Things are certainly looking shaky for BG George Yeo. Last night at
Serangoon Stadium , PAP brought in 2 of its "old horses" to help the embattled Foreign Minister. 77-yr-old Chin Harn Tong and Sidek Saniff took over the stage and immediately went ballistic against the Workers' Party. Touted as the "Secret Weapon" for the PAP Aljunied GRC team, Chin Harn Tong tried to rouse the crowd with his fluent Teochew dialect. Chin was with the Ministry of Home Affairs from 1977, and became Senior Parliamentary Secretary between 1981 and 1988. He headed the Aljunied Town Council from 1989 to 1993. Sidek Saniff was an MP in Aljunied GRC from 1997 to 2001.
