As the republic prepares for its 14th general election, there’s a subtle shift in the city state’s mood. For a start, Singaporeans are more questioning.
At the same time, they also have the means to question — namely the ubiquitous social media, the same engine that recently transformed Middle Eastern politics.
Moreover, the government’s much-lauded investment in connectivity and the Internet means that the republic’s citizenry enjoys unprecedented and cheap cyber access.
