SINGAPORE – The number of mainland Chinese people who buy residential properties in Singapore have increased 3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2010. An increasing number of buyers this property is an indication that people distance themselves from the mainland China property market is already too hot. This also means that by 2010, the proportion of Chinese buyers in the market reached 19 percent, up from 15 Ilustrationpercent in 2009. “They are expected to continue buying property in Singapore,” says Chor Hoon Chua, Head of DTZ Research South East Asia.
