Singaporean denies abetting unlawful posession of endangered birds in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: A Singaporean pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate's Court here today to abetting unlawfully possession of two birds of paradise (cenderawasih), an endangered species, and two palm cockatoo feathers.
Eng Chi Eng, 43, was charged with abetting Pakistani clothes salesman Abdul Ghaffar Abdul Razzaq on two counts of having the birds and feathers at a house in Jalan Metro Perdana 2, Taman Usahawan, Kepong at 3.30pm between Aug 12 and 13. Full story
