In conjunction with World Contraception Day on Sunday, results of a global survey stated that in Singapore about 61 per cent of sexually active youth have unprotected sex with new partners.
It was stated that last year the percentage of youths having unprotected sex was 49 per cent and this year there has been a significant rise.
Singapore was also ranked among the top 25 countries by a survey where contraceptives are not used that often. Full story
