Singapore Home Affairs Ministry Thanks Malaysia For Repatriating Mas Selamat

SINGAPORE, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- Singapore on Friday thanked the Malaysian government for repatriating back to the island republic suspected Jemaah Islamiah (JI) terrorist network leader Mas Selamat Kastari who had been detained under Malaysia's Internal Security Act (ISA) since early last year.
The republic's Home Affairs Ministry conveyed its deepest appreciation to its Malaysian counterpart, the Malaysian Special Branch and the Special Task Force tasked with his recapture, for their assistance in the arrest and repatriation of Mas Selamat to Singapore. Full story
