China Eastern plane catches fire after Singapore take-off

SINGAPORE — A China Eastern Airlines plane caught fire shortly after it took off from Singapore's Changi Airport on Friday and was forced to turn back, a report said Sunday. All 229 passengers on flight MU568 which was bound for Shanghai were unhurt ....... An employee from Changi Airport confirmed the incident when contacted by AFP and said the problem was caused by a technical fault but gave no other details. Full story
