Taiwan has the best palliative care for terminally ill patients in Asia, Singapore's Lien Foundation said yesterday.
The organization drew up a worldwide list covering the quality of terminal care and came to the conclusion that Taiwan was the 14th best, or No.1 in Asia. The country came ahead of Singapore, which ranked 18 in the world.
The survey, entrusted to the Economist Intelligence Unit, covered 30 members of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development and ten other nations or areas, reports said. Full Story
