The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), development agency for Marina Bay, is organising a weekend filled with fun and exciting activities on 17 and 18 July 2010 at Marina Bay to celebrate the official opening of the Marina Bay waterfront promenade.Official opening will be graced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong who will flag off The New Paper Big Walk@Marina Bay.
Called the Big Carnival@Marina Bay, more than 80,000 Singaporeans and visitors will gather at Marina Bay to participate in games and water activities, and watch performances while enjoying the newly completed waterfront promenade. Full Story
