Foreign buyers account for 40% of properties sold in prime districts

Buyers from mainland China are firmly in the sights of Singapore’s real estate agents. Some companies have recently established offices, while others have entered into partnerships with local organisations to tap the growing demand.
High end properties are grabbing most attention. One agent reported that six out of every ten enquiries he gets from China is about the ultra-luxurious Sentosa Cove.
HSR International Realtors said that buyers from outside Singapore now account for about 40 per cent of its sales in prime districts. Full Story
