Singapore Manufacturing Output Plunges In June

(RTTNews) - Singapore’s seasonally adjusted manufacturing output plunged 23.4% month-on-month in June, Singapore Economic Development Board said Monday. That was the first fall in seven months and followed 5.2% rise in May. Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output declined 1.8% following a 0.1% drop in the previous month.
On an annual basis, Singapore’s manufacturing output increased 26.1% in June, much slower than the 58.4% increase seen in May. Manufacturing output grew for a seventh straight month. Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output declined 1.8%. Full Story
