SINGAPORE, June 30 (Xinhua) -- The Singapore government said on Wednesday that six water companies will each receive about 1 million Singapore dollars (0.72 million U.S. dollars) worth of research funds to carry out research and development to improve their product offerings to the global water industry.Of the six companies, two are Singapore-based companies while the rest are strongly represented by offices in Singapore.
