Singapore and Sichuan Companies Join Hands to Develop Innovation Park in China

A hi-tech innovation park in the city of Chengdu in China will be developed by Singapore and Sichuan companies in collaboration. Under the project, a 35-square kilometer plot of land will be converted for modern manufacturing and services uses. The Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee signed an agreement on Monday, which will help strengthening business links between two sides.
The bilateral trade between Singapore and Sichuan boosted 68.4% to US$267.12 million during the first five months of this year, compared to the same period last year, according to the enterprise agency, IE Singapore. Full Story
