TIGER Airways reported a 54 per cent surge in passenger numbers 2009-10 and filled 85 per cent of its seats.The airline, which gives group figures but does not break out Australian statistics, flew 4.9 million passengers in the year ended March 31 and said March figures were up 51 per cent compared to last year.
