Singapore Annual Inflation Accelerates In March

(RTTNews) - Singapore annual inflation accelerated in March on higher transportation and food costs, yet the annual increase was slower than economists' expected.
Consumer price annual inflation was 1.6% in March, up from around 1% in February, a report from the Department of Statistics showed Friday. Economists were looking for an annual rate of 1.9%. Excluding accommodation costs, consumer prices climbed 2.3%. Full Story
