Singapore Airlines said Wednesday it had resumed a full service to Europe "with immediate effect" after authorities there reopened airspace previously closed because of cloud of volcanic ash.
The airline estimated it had lost 40 million Singapore dollars (29 million US) due to cancellations and disruption as result of the shutdown on April 15.
Accommodation, meals and other expenses for affected passengers in Singapore and overseas had cost the carrier another 10 million Singapore dollars. Full Story
