Singapore - Singapore Airlines on Friday cancelled flights to and from Europe after an ash cloud spewed from a volcano in Iceland obscured much of Europe's airspace, the company said in a statement.
At Singapore's Changi Airport, one of Asia's air hubs, flight disruptions since Thursday had already affected an estimated 6,000 travellers, local media said.
Singapore Airlines on Friday cancelled 12 flights serving London, Manchester, Munich, Amsterdam and Paris. Full Story
