Army guns and trucks that have invaded Wellington's waterfront, near Westpac Stadium, are not props for one of Sir Peter Jackson's movies.
The military equipment is for the Singapore Army's annual exercises in New Zealand.
Every year they transport various guns and their own ammunition, by boat, to put them through their paces at the Waiouru Army Camp's live ammunition range, in the central North Island. Full Story
