TIGER Airways passengers bound for Hobart were stranded in Melbourne for eight hours yesterday while their plane was assessed by engineers.A Tiger flight originally scheduled to leave Melbourne at 4pm yesterday was delayed until 11.55pm, leaving more than 100 passengers with a long and tedious wait, the Advertiser reports.
Low-cost airlines like Tiger have to improve their customer service or face tough new laws stemming from the Federal Government's White Paper on National Aviation Policy.
