rotecting vulnerable adults from family violence is a critical but scarcely discussed area on family violence, a Singapore senior official said on Wednesday.
"We usually think of children and women as victims, but there are other vulnerable groups, including the elderly and adults with disabilities," Singapore Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports Vivian Balakrishnan said at Singapore's National Family Violence Symposium 2009.
