The Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) announced today (Wednesday, October 14) that it will be budgeting at least S$6 million (US$4.41 million) for an initiative called Media in Learning, which will see to the development and deployment of up to 24 educational game titles over the next three years. The game titles to come out of this initiative are intended to support effective learning in a variety of areas, covering not just traditional school-based education, but also other domains, such as defence and health care, said the MDA in a statement.
