SINGAPORE, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Ministry of Education has surpassed its annual target of recruiting 3,000 teachers this year by June, the country's Education Minister said on Monday.
Though the ministry has stepped up efforts this year, Education Minister Ng Eng Hen said that the ministry continues to be rigorous in selecting teachers and educators to ensure that only those with the passion, aptitude and commitment are selected.
