Bandar Seri Begawan - Senior Parliamentary Secretary from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Republic of Singapore went on a study visit to the Maraburong Prison and the Jerudong Prison Gallery yesterday.
The Director of Prisons, Dato Paduka Hj Ahmad Hj Dullah, greeted the Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Masagos Zulkifli Masagos Mohamad and his delegation upon arrival.
Among the objectives of the visit was to learn more on the duties of correctional officers and the roles and functions of the Prisons Department, especially on the rehabilitation processes.
