SINGAPORE, Feb 12 — The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is providing a total of S$200 million (RM479 million) this year to help airlines and airport partners tide over the current economic downturn.
In a statement today, CAAS said the sum comprised a S$63 million relief package consisting of rental rebates (S$43 million) and a newly set up S$20 million ‘Promotions Development Fund’ for retail, food and beverage, services concessionaires at Changi Airport as well as another S$7 million in rental rebates for other airport partners.
