LOS ANGELES, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Casino operator Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS.N) said on Wednesday it swung to a fourth-quarter net loss as it recorded impairment charges and the spreading recession hurt business.
Sands, which operates the Palazzo and Venetian resorts on the Las Vegas Strip and has two casinos in the Chinese gambling enclave of Macau, said it remains focused on boosting cashflow, trimming debt and cutting costs. Shares rose 4 percent in extended trading.
