KUALA LUMPUR: Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd has emerged as a substantial shareholder in civil engineering-based WCT Bhd with a 5.04% stake.
A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed that Temasek owned 38.89 million shares as at Nov 20.
WCT share price closed at RM1.43 on that day.
At the current share price of RM1.54 on Wednesday, it is trading at a historical price to earnings of 6.26 times.
Its share price hit a 52-week high of RM5 on Jan 14 this year while its 52-week low was RM1.07 on Oct 28.
