Taiwan and Singapore established a parliamentary friendship association yesterday, in an attempt to further promote bilateral relations and exchanges between the people of both countries.
"With the establishment of the Taiwan-Singapore Parliamentary Friendship Association to serve as a focal point with Singapore, I believe the group will further promote substantial relations between the two countries to bring even closer relations," said Legislative Yuan Speaker Wang Jin-pyng (王金平) at a ceremony to establish the group.
