SINGAPORE -(Dow Jones)- Singapore's economy likely expanded slightly in the third quarter, but analysts said weak global demand continues to strain the island's key manufacturing sector.
A Dow Jones Newswires poll of nine economists forecast gross domestic product to have expanded 0.3% from the second quarter on an annualized and seasonally adjusted basis. The economy contracted 6% in the previous three months.
