The newspaper, which will hit the market on October 10, will be distributed free.

It will be the 16th title from the SPH stable and will be published by Tamil Murasu Ltd, the wholly-owned SPH subsidiary that publishes the Tamil daily Tamil Murasu in Singapore, a company statement said.

Besides, focusing on news on India, it will also provide developments in Singapore that concerns the growing Indian community.

While tabla! is a free newspaper, readers can get it delivered to their homes on Friday mornings for a delivery charge of $28 a year.
