SINGAPORE, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong Tuesday was quoted as saying that the fallout from the weak U.S. economy will be felt for much longer.
Speaking at a gala dinner at the Forbes Global CEO Conference on Tuesday night, Lee said the U.S. government's takeover of giant mortgage finance companies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, rallied markets all over Asia on Monday, according to local TV Channel NewsAsia reports.
